The Foulard is inspired by gold wreaths from olive, myrtle, laurel or ivy leaves that have mainly found in royal tombs of Macedonia and constitute excellent examples of the goldsmith’s art in Hellenistic times. These wreaths are part from the collection of the Benaki Museum in Athens. 3rd – 2nd century B.C.
